2022 Honda CRF250R new price PerthNine-plate clutch assembly
Improves durability and hookup. That means less slip at peak horsepower, better torque transmission through the clutch pack and greater durability. The clutch pull is also lighter, with improved engagement feel.

More midrange torque and power
The key to riding a 250 fast is to keep it in the powerband. The 2022 CRF250R features new high-performance cam profiles, new valve timing, and a new press-fit cam sprocket along with new ignition timing. Together they boost the critical midrange torque and power significantly, giving you the advantage you need.

Engine mode select button
This simple handlebar-mounted button lets you dial in engine power delivery character with a push of your thumb. Choose between Standard, Smooth and Aggressive, depending on track conditions.

Shared engine/gearbox lubrication
The 2022 CRF250R uses a shared engine/transmission oiling design. Why? Combining the two systems shaves weight and helps make the engine more compact, especially when it comes to placing the right-side cam drive and the clutch so close together.

Electric start
The CRF250R is equipped with an effortless electric starter. Convenient and lightweight, it’s a huge deal if you need to restart a stalled bike in the heat of battle.

Tuned triple clamps
The CRF250R is a perfectly matched package. This is why for 2022 we’ve optimized the triple clamps’ rigidity. You’ll notice the difference in performance, especially in ruts.

Showa® spring fork
The 49mm Showa® fork features a conventional spring design that helps increase the CRF250R’s front-suspension precision, handling and feel. The 39mm piston diameter and 25mm rod diameter guarantee a plush feel and supple action. New suspension settings for 2022 keep you dialed in.

Revised frame rigidity
Great handling starts with a superior frame, and that’s one place where the CRF250R’s chassis puts you out front. First, it’s light. 680 grams lighter than the previous generation’s. By making the frame’s main spars narrow, we save weight, but more importantly, we made the chassis more responsive by fine-tuning the lateral rigidity. The result is a bike that gets into, around, and out of corners fast.

2022 Honda CRF250R new price PerthNew rear suspension
We’ve given the 2022 CRF250R five millimeters more suspension stroke, along with a lightweight spring. Combine that with a new Pro-Link ratio, and you get a 110-gram weight savings along with a more plush ride.

Single exhaust routing

The new 2022 CRF250R’s single-pipe exhaust is going to get a lot of attention, but another advantage that you might not think of is how it lets you move more freely on the bike. By tucking in unobtrusively, it makes moving around on the bike easier than ever.

Titanium fuel tank
Every gram counts on a bike in the 250 class, which is why the 2022 CRF250R has a titanium fuel tank. Light and strong, it’s also thinner than our previous plastic unit, freeing up more space and helping to centralize fuel mass.

Short swingarm
The short swingarm not only makes the bike lighter, it also reduces unsprung mass and allows better rear-wheel traction. The low rear shock mount to the frame contributes to the low the centre of gravity and chassis stability.
