Recent announcements from Honda Australia will have an immediate effect on parts orders and supply.

Due to the ongoing and rapidly evolving Corona Virus (COVID-19) situation, most major International airlines have suspended or heavily reduced their services into Australia. Costs for these very limited services have also increased greatly.

This means that parts supply “via air freight” from most of Honda’s major overseas suppliers is no longer possible at this time.

Until further notice, parts not stocked by The Honda Shop, or the Honda Australia national parts warehouse in Melbourne, will only be shipped from Honda’s overseas factories via sea freight.

Where air freight orders generally arrive within 7-10 days, shipments via sea freight can take up to 8-12 weeks from the time of order.

If the time frame is not an issue for you, our parts team will notify you of any items that are not currently available within Australia and will need to come from overseas via sea freight.

We encourage all customers to contact us here to check the availability and/or ETA of any parts you require, prior to placing an online order.

Any further changes to air freight capacity will be immediately communicated to you, our valued customers.
