Shipping Information

By placing an order with The Honda Shop, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out on this page. By purchasing from us, you are entering a legally binding contract between yourself as a customer and The Honda Shop as your supplier of product and services.
These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.  These terms and conditions cannot be changed unless agreed by The Honda Shop in writing or in email form.

Ordering
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the item from our website under our terms and conditions.  At this point, there is no acceptance by The Honda Shop to supply any product. The Honda Shop reserves the right to refuse service; terminate service; remove or edit contents; or cancel and refund an order at their sole discretion.  If your order cannot be accepted or processed, you will be contacted by email or phone.
You must be at least 18 years of legal age to order products from The Honda Shop.  By agreeing to the terms and conditions and ordering from us, you are acknowledging that you are 18 years old or above.  You must also elect to have products sent to an Australian postal address as we do not ship overseas at this time.

Currency, GST and Price
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).  All prices are not inclusive of shipping cost. Shipping cost is shown separately and is calculated based on your location and product type.  No refund will be applicable if a product you have purchased becomes available at a lower price. We reserve the right to change the price on our advertised products without any prior notice.

Payment
The Honda Shop currently only accepts payment methods mentioned below:

  1. We use Securepay and Paypal Third party payment gateway providers to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and payment gateway for all orders placed to ensure the security of your personal card details. We do not keep any records of your credit card details on file.
  2. Electronic Transfer (bank deposit, internet bank transfer, direct debit)

Payment will only be processed when all necessary information is provided.  Please make sure you have assisted in providing the correct information on all necessary fields. PayPal and credit card payments are processed instantly the moment you click confirm order button.  If the payment has been processed, verified and confirmed by PayPal or SecurePay, we will send you a payment confirmation email along with the tax invoice attached.

Electronic Transfer will take 2 to 3 working days for payment confirmation.  Please take this into consideration when you choose this payment method.

Dispatch and Delivery

Products purchased from The Honda Shop are shipped within 1-7 business days (Monday – Friday) unless otherwise stated, standard delivery times do apply. Genuine Honda parts not available in Australia will be supplied ex the factory in Japan and lead time is approximately 14 days from time of order (due to COVID-19 the current lead time has changed to 4-8 weeks).

When our orders are dispatched, you will receive an auto-generated email from us indicating the courier company we used, as well as the associated tracking number.  If you did not receive the item within the estimated delivery period and the tracking number provided is not helping, please contact us.  All items will be delivered to the shipping address provided unless otherwise agreed by us.  The Honda Shop will take reasonable care to dispatch your order within the estimated dispatch time frame provided in our listing.

The estimated shipping time frame is 1-6 business days after dispatch, depending on the shipping address and is subject to the limitations of our third party delivery companies. As such, we do not guarantee that the item will be delivered within the estimated delivery time frame. Unless you have opted for postal insurance, we cannot guarantee you will be compensated for any loss or damage in transit. The decision to compensate for a lost of damaged parcel will depend on the third party courier.

Items that are too large for normal delivery may be marked as “Pick Up in Store Only”. Once ordered you will receive a confirmation email when these items can

If you are not home at time of delivery, Australia Post will leave a card saying they tried to deliver your parcel, allowing you to collect your parcel from your nearest Post Office outlet. Some orders will ship separately when more than two items are purchased.

Shipping fees are based on the total weight of the items in your cart, the destination of your delivery posting from Midland, Western Australia. Additional shipping costs may occur for deliveries to remote locations or for oversized and/or bulky items.

Bike Shipping:

Please note: Please contact us prior to purchasing a motorcycle online if you require freight. We will provide you with a freight quote including crating fee and delivery to your nearest depot. All road bikes shipped Interstate will arrive unlicensed. Purchaser will be required to re-register the vehicle in their home state at their own expense.

A maximum of $1000 transit cover is included on all shipments, conditional to the freight Company Sadleirs Transport Co Pty Ltd accepting responsibility for the damage. Any further costs associated with the damage will be the responsibility of the Receiver/purchaser

Order Amendment or Cancellation – requested by customer
We cannot guarantee changes to your order can be made once it has been paid for. An order cannot be amended or cancelled without prior written approval from The Honda Shop.  Changing of shipping address, product or quantity after you have paid are examples of amendments that need prior approval from us.  You may not assume that we have to do so upon receiving your request.  We reserve the right to approve or reject any requests for order amendment or cancellation based on your reasons; whether the time you provided for us to make the amendment or cancellation is reasonable; and presence of any delay from our side causing this request.
Please note that while your emails are important to us, they may not be read immediately after they are sent, so we do not assume responsibility for amending or cancelling on grounds that you emailed us shortly after paying for the order. If your order has already been shipped, you may return your order in accordance with our returns policy (see below). We may also charge additional shipping costs if we need to resend your parcel for reasons including but not limited to the customer’s change of mind, an incorrect address, the parcel being unclaimed or a purchase made in error.

Order Cancellation – by The Honda Shop
We reserve the right to cancel orders any time at our own discretion. If you have already paid for the order, we will issue a full refund or offer an equivalent or substitute product to you at our agreed price.
If a product becomes unavailable, we may cancel the order and either offer you a substitute model or refund your payment as soon as possible.

Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind about a purchase, it is at our discretion whether we accept a return for refund. We will generally accept a return provided you contact us within 7 days of receiving the product, the product is in their original condition, and the product is not a consumable or perishable. Change of mind returns will only be eligible for a refund on the product’s sale price, and in some cases, a partial refund on the product’s sale price. If the product is not in its original condition but deemed resaleable by The Honda Shop, we may accept a return for refund and deduct 15% of the sales value from the final refund amount. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the customer.

Accuracy of Information
Although we endeavour to take all reasonable steps to ensure that information published on our website is correct, our system is not fail safe and errors can occur. As such, information may change without prior notice. The Honda Shop will not hold liability for advertising incorrect information caused by a system failure or manufacturer error.

Refunds
Refunds will only be made to the original Paypal or bank account of purchase.  If you paid with credit card, the refund will be made to the linked Paypal account. If you do not have a Paypal login, you can contact your credit card issuer for more details. A maximum purchase limit by unit may be imposed.

Promotions
Promotions by The Honda Shop are deemed to be finished when stock runs out or the promotion period expires, whichever comes first.  A maximum purchase limit by unit may be imposed.

Privacy of your personal information
Your personal information is treated with the greatest of care by The Honda Shop.  We use best practices to protect and keep your personal information provided by you strictly confidential.  Our privacy policy explains how your personal information is handled with care by The Honda Shop in more details.

Credit Card Fraudulence and Protection
We take the greatest of care to prevent credit card frauds by employing the latest SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology software for our payment checkout system to process our order.  Our fraud prevention department may email you requesting for a copy of your credit card along with your driver’s license in the event that we receive information that the order could be a potential fraudulent or unauthorised activity. The information you provide will be destroyed after verification purpose is completed.  If this happens, you need to assist and provide the information required to us within 7 days and your orders will not be processed until it passes the verification.  If you fail to provide the required information, your order will be cancelled and your payment refunded back to the original account of purchase.  While we take reasonable care and measures to prevent credit card fraud, we are not responsible for any damages or consequential loss (direct or indirect) suffered by our customers whose credit card has been used for fraudulent activity or been used in an unauthorised manner.

Limited Liability
The Honda Shop and its affiliates will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data, or any indirect loss of damage or consequential loss in any event including negligence or breach of contracts.  The maximum liability for any product we sell to you shall be equal to the price you have paid for the product, and no higher value than that.
The Honda Shop does not accept liability for the following conditions, to the extent permitted by applicable laws:
·         Any damage or injury of any nature caused when using our purchased product, whether in the correct or incorrect way.
·         Any errors in our listing
·         Any unauthorised access to our secure server
·         Any warranty policies or representations regarding the quality, accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for purchase of any product maintained by non-affiliated website that are link to our website, including manufacturer’s website
·         Any spyware, viruses, Trojan horses or other harmful codes transmitted to the website by any third party.

Statutory and Warranty
